This psalm reminds us that the Lord has a purpose for our lives. Nothing physically or spiritually outside of ourselves can stop us from fulfilling it. God offers us shelter from harm and his full protection. But, the “Lord’s will” comes first and he protects us in order to fulfill his ultimate purpose for our lives.
